Mike Hufnagel - President
Mike grew up in Pittsburgh and relocated to Indianapolis in 1978, joining his brother’s company, Hufnagel Equipment, servicing 50 through 750-ton Dunham-Bush water chillers. He ran the service department for several years, adding equipment sales and design to his responsibilities the last couple years. Thus, began his career in HVAC. Over the next two decades, Mike took positions that challenged him in other organizations, learning every step of the way: how to design, service and understand the intricacies of HVAC equipment; and perhaps most importantly, how to oversee people. His desire to build an employee-centric company dedicated to providing an unparalleled level of service led Mike to launch PMC in 1998.
Michael Pharris - Director of Sales & Operations
Born and raised in Noblesville and a graduate of ITT Technical Institute with a focus on HVAC, Mike embarked on his HVAC journey early. While still a student, he embarked on an internship with Eli Lilly and Company, gaining valuable HVAC experience. After completing his education, Mike launched his career, immersing himself in various facets of the industry, including pipe fitting, sheet metal installation, service technician roles, and quality control positions. In 1999, he joined PMC as a Service Technician and swiftly climbed the ranks, eventually becoming the Director of Operations in 2002.
John Badgley - Project Manager
John's upbringing took place on a farm outside of Markleville. Following high school, he pursued his passion for HVAC by enrolling in the program at ITT Technical Institute. John became an integral part of PMC's early days as a lead technician and witnessed his role evolve alongside the company's growth. During his free time, John finds relaxation in the company of his family and friends, whether it's camping, indulging in hunting and fishing, or enthusiastically supporting his youngest son's endeavors in football and wrestling. John and his wife, along with their son, have made their home in Greenfield. They also relish the frequent visits from John's grown son and two daughters.
Justin Miller - Service Manager
As Service Manager, Justin leads the team with an exceptional depth of knowledge developed over a career in HVAC that began in 1998. With more than 25 years of hands-on technical experience, he is dedicated to ensuring every service job is completed efficiently, accurately, and with the highest level of care. A proud Avon High School graduate now residing in Brownsburg, Justin brings a strong sense of community understanding to his role and the customers he serves.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys golfing, camping, and spending quality time with his two daughters.
Mathew Amonett - Contract Manager
Born and raised in Avon, Mathew began his HVAC/R career in 2013 as a commercial sheet metal installer. He joined PMC in 2015 as a service technician, quickly building a reputation for his reliability, strong work ethic, and technical expertise. In 2019, he advanced to the management team and now serves as a Contract Manager, where he leverages his hands-on experience to deliver exceptional service and dependable support to clients.
Mathew is committed to continuous professional growth and approaches every new challenge as an opportunity to learn and improve. Outside of work, he enjoys weight lifting, hiking, working on vehicles, and spending quality time with his close family and friends. Mathew and his wife, Kayla, currently reside in Avon.
Cristy Greene- Office Systems Coordinator
Cristy grew up on the south side of Indianapolis and brings a well-rounded background in customer service, accounting, and technology, supported by previous roles in health care, insurance, and property management. She first joined PMC in 2012 in a temporary capacity assisting with various projects, and later that year accepted a full-time position, quickly becoming a valuable part of the team. Cristy resides on the south side of Indianapolis with her partner and their cats, Pounce and Gigi. She enjoys traveling to different beaches, camping, engaging with her community, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Brandon Fair- Contract Manager
Brandon grew up in Avon and graduated from Avon High School in 2011. While in school, he attended the Area 31 Career Center’s HVAC program, where he developed a strong foundation in the trade early on. He began working part-time in the HVAC industry during high school and has since built 15 years of valuable experience. Today, Brandon serves as a Contract Manager, where he takes pride in helping customers and overseeing their HVAC needs with professionalism and care. His hands-on background and industry knowledge allow him to provide dependable guidance and exceptional service on every project. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys spending quality time with his family, especially his 3-year-old son, Waylon, and their chocolate lab, Barley. He also loves being outdoors—camping, golfing, and catching a good sports game whenever he can.
